Season Tanzania enjoys a tropical climate with little variation in temperature between the seasons and high humidity. Temperatures range from mid 20C to low 30C throughout the country, though coastal areas are more hot and humid.
The country can be visited all year long but the best -and busiest- times are the dry seasons, between December and February and between June to October.

HIGHLIGHTS

This is a classic game driving safari that enables your clients to see all the Northern Circuit main parks in the shortest comfortable time. Lake Manyara NP is tucked beneath the Rift Valley wall, a thin tree band of forest flanked by the 600 metres sheer high red and brown cliffs of the escarpment and the shores of the soda lake which gives name to the park. It features nearly 400 different species of birds, red-billed quelea, pelicans, cormorants and thousands of flamingoes.

The Serengeti -meaning "Endless Plains”- is one of the most iconic and beloved safari destinations in all of Africa, where the Big 5 -Lion, Rhino, Leopard, Elephant and Buffalo- can be found, among thousands of other species. It is home to the annual migration of more than a million wildebeest, hundreds of thousands of zebra and Thomson’s gazelle following the rains undertaking their long journey to new grazing grounds.

Ngorongoro Crater is the world largest caldera measuring 600 metres in depth and covering 250 square kilometres in area. A UNESCO world heritage site, it is considered one of the natural wonders of the world with its spectacular setting containing an abundance of wildlife with hundreds of bird species and over 20,000 large animals including Tanzania’s remaining critically endangered black rhino.

Tarangire National Park is the sixth largest national park in Tanzania ; its name originates from the Tarangire River that crosses through the park, being the only source of water for wild animals during dry seasons. At this times you can expect to see large herds of Elephants, thousands of Zebra, Wildebeest, and Cape Buffalo who trek hundreds of kilometres to drink at the Tarangire River among hilly woodlands.
